Doolin House RentalThis wonderful rental is in Doolin - 4-Star Sleeps 30 People

We stayed in Doolin back in 2003 when the house was a simple B&B just outside of the village of Doolin. Quaint, well kept and wonderful hosts. We went back two years later and didn't recognize the former B&B as it now had a large addition and upgraded to a 4-star guesthouse. We were fortunate to have the family suite at the top of the steps which featured a queen bed and a separate sitting room with pull-out couch, perfect for children. The restaurant was open and featured incredible fresh, local food along with some impressive wines. That same weekend the owners were opening their hotel in Doolin Village, within walking distance of the guesthouse and now their guesthouse is available to rent!

About Doolin

This 4-star guesthouse in Clare is the ideal base for visiting the wonderful attractions on the West coast of Ireland. The traditional Irish music village of Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren National Park and the Aran Islands are all easily accessed from this exclusive 4-star accommodation in Doolin. For the golf enthusiast, the famous Lahinch Golf Links Course and Greg Norman designed Doonbeg Golf Links Course are but a short journey away.

We always spend a few days in Doolin every year because the region is not only relaxing and very rural but there are some great pubs in the village that guarantee traditional Irish music each night... choose from McGann's, McDermott's or Gus O'Connor's Pub and you won't be disappointed. Spend the day going to the Aran Islands right from Doolin pier or an hour-long boat ride to the face of the Cliffs of Moher to get a different perspective of these massive 700-foot cliffs. Take in some pony trekking with the kids in Lahinch or learn to surf there as well. Tour the Burren, stop at the Burren Perfumery (not accessible by tour buses!), marvel at Poulnabrone Dolmen or take in the Dunquaire Castle Banquet dinner. Stroll Ballyvaughan with lunch at Monk's Cafe or try the smoked salmon in Lisdoonvarna.

This is really a region which gives you access to so much while keeping you in the Irish countryside.
